GRIT Ministries exists to glorify God through equipping, encouraging, supporting and challenging individuals in living for Christ.

“Be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

Gospel

Grit seeks to do everything with a gospel centered foundation. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order to that the world might be saved through him." John 3:16-17

Relentless

Grit challenges individuals to relentlessly pursue Jesus. "Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Matthew 16:24

Intentional

Grit challenges to have an intentionally personal relationship with the person of Jesus Christ. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27

Total Person

Grit encourages individuals to live in total submission in all areas of their lives to Christ. "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20

Gospel

Grit does everything with a gospel centered foundation.

What We Do

Our process is through individualized discipleship and helping others to follow Jesus and become mature
believers in Christ.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.

Matthew 28:19-20

Teaching

We will teach how to study the scriptures, and how they directly apply into all areas of our lives.

Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:24-25

Modeling

We will follow the model of service Jesus set forth, by serving coaches through creating date nights for spouses, financial burden relief, or prayer.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45

Love

No matter the phase of life, peak or valley, trial or joy, we aim to love coaches by meeting unmet needs.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 13:34-35

Humility

Just as Jesus came humbly into this world to sacrifice for many. Our goal is to put coaches above ourselves, and challenge coaches into a humble state of growth in the gospel.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

How We Do It

Coaching Clinics

Equipping coaches through learning from other coaches to grow in their spiritual walks both on and off the field.

Mission

Opportunities to go around the world and use the gifts God has given to coach and advance the Gospel.

Retreats

Coaches are able to step away from the grind for a time of solitude, prayer, discussion and study.

Bible Studies

Group discussions analyzing the Bible to gain knowledge of Biblical principles and how those principles apply to our daily lives.

Discipleship

GRIT Ministries aims to teach, model, love, and humbly challenge coaches to pursue Christ relentlessly – moving from group settings to individual time with coaches to strengthen their relationship with Christ.
